Laika is a cosmopolitan shisha lounge inside ZIMA at 45 Frith Street - right in the heart of Soho. Guests often arrive for dinner downstairs and stay for a shisha flight upstairs, or book Laika directly for an evening session. Here is what first-time visitors usually want to know before they arrive.
How to find us
Enter ZIMA on Frith Street and ask our team for Laika - we are part of the same building, not a separate street entrance. Postcode W1D 4SD is easy to reach from Tottenham Court Road and Leicester Square stations. Use Google Maps for step-by-step directions; the pin is listed as Laika Shisha Lounge (At ZIMA).
Sessions and timing
A standard shisha session is 90 minutes (we call it a 1.5-hour slot). About fifteen minutes before the end, your last order is taken and the bill is presented. If the lounge is not fully booked, you may extend for another 90 minutes online or with a team member. Shisha is priced per session - see our menu for current rates and promotions.
Booking vs walk-in
We recommend reserving a table, especially on weekends and later evenings. You can book through our SevenRooms page in a few taps. Walk-ins are welcome when capacity allows - the team at reception will guide you to Laika.
Food, drinks and house rules
ZIMA’s dinner menu and our drinks list pair naturally with shisha - alcohol is served with food under our licence. Dogs, including assistance dogs, cannot be accommodated due to fire safety rules. Corkage is available if you bring your own tobacco or alcohol; ask the team for details.
For stamps, student discounts, dress code and more, our FAQ covers the essentials. If anything is unclear on the night, speak to any team member - we would rather explain once than leave you guessing.
